Stanley A. Motta is a Partner at MKH Capital Partners and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.
Mr. Motta is a Latin American business leader, investor and philanthropist. He built and oversees a broad portfolio of companies that successfully compete throughout Latin America. With his family, he is a lead investor in Copa Airlines’ parent company (NYSE: CPA); AES Colón, an LNG joint venture with AES Corp; Banco General; ASSA Compañía de Seguros; Motta Internacional; as well as other companies in the real estate, retail, telecom, media, technology, transportation and other industries. Mr. Motta is Chairman of the Board of Inversiones Bahía (the Motta family office), Copa Holdings, Grupo ASSA, TVN Media and SumaRSE, Panama’s local network promoting corporate social responsibility and the UN Global Compact. He also serves on the boards of various portfolio companies.
Mr. Motta has long been actively engaged with leading organizations promoting economic, social and educational development, including the Inter-American Development Bank, America’s Business Dialogue, the Inter-American Dialogue, The Conference Board and the Central American Leadership Initiative (CALI), among others. He also sits in the advisory boards of IESE, EGADE and INCAE business schools. Mr. Motta’s work and service have been recognized internationally and in Panama by organizations including Americas Society and the Wilson Center.
Mr. Motta leads the significant charitable endeavors his family carries out through Fundación Alberto Motta. Its projects focus on education, culture, health, the environment and adequate housing. They include the Centros Supérate, a transformative after-school program for high-performing students in at-risk neighborhoods; and the Museo de la Mola (MuMo), a museum that pays tribute to a unique form of handmade textiles from Panama’s Guna indigenous women.
Mr. Motta graduated from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1967.
Mike Kazma is a Partner at MKH Capital Partners and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.
Mike is the President and CEO of Amzak Capital Management, the Kazma family investment vehicle. At Amzak, he oversees all direct, real estate, and fixed income investments. Mike started his career as an entrepreneur in the cable and telecommunications industries and, after leading the sale of his family’s business, diversified into a vast array of industries and investments. Mike has invested in successful businesses including, Amnet Telecommunications, Tricom, Core Power Yoga, Altice Dominican Republic, Networking Management Services, BTS Towers, KPAQ Industries, among others.
Mike is actively involved in the Kazma Family Foundation. Since 1997, the foundation has granted over 1,000 scholarships to college and high school students and funded the construction of various schools and classrooms in the United States and Central America. Mike also enjoys partnering with entrepreneurs like himself and mentoring management teams.
Mike holds an undergraduate degree from Bradley University.
Miguel Heras is a Founder and Managing Partner at MKH Capital Partners and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. He currently serves on the Boards of Wax Center Partners and Fertilitas Network, and previously served on the Board of Clean Streak Ventures.
Prior to joining MKH, Miguel served as Managing Director and member of the Board of Directors of Inversiones Bahía. Based in Panama, Bahía is the largest investment group in Central America, with a primary focus on financial institutions, infrastructure, energy, real estate and the communications sectors. Miguel was the principal architect of Bahía’s investment platform, and responsible for the implementation of high-impact growth strategies in many of its portfolio companies. Miguel has invested over $1 billion in a diverse portfolio of companies, spanning over 20 investments and 15 successful exits. Miguel is a member of The Wharton Executive Board for Latin America and is Chairman of Bladex (NYSE: BLX), a Latin American bank serving 26 countries in the region.
Miguel was Minister of the Treasury of the Republic of Panama and President of the Council on Foreign Trade from 1996 to 1998. He holds a B.S. in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Political Science from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Annette Rodriguez is a Founder and Managing Partner at MKH Capital Partners and a member of the firm's Investment Committee. She currently serves on the Boards of Wax Center Partners, Fertilitas Network, and Sustainable Development Acquisition I Corp (NASDAQ: SDAC). She previously served on the Board of Clean Streak Ventures.
Annette currently serves on the Harvard Business School Alumni Board and the Board of New York Professional Advisors for Community Entrepreneurs (NYPACE), a non-profit consulting organization assisting under-resourced entrepreneurs, and serves as the Chair of NYPACE’s Governance Committee.
Prior to joining MKH, Annette was a founding Partner at Navab Capital Partners and a member of NCP’s Investment, Management and ESG Committees. From 2008 to 2019 Annette was at Warburg Pincus, most recently as a Managing Director. While at Warburg, Annette invested in and managed portfolio companies across consumer, retail, healthcare, industrials and business services. Annette worked closely with and served on the Boards of Gabe’s, Glansaol, Outset Medical (NASDAQ: OM), Silk Road Medical (NASDAQ: SILK), TriMark, and Wencor Group. She was also actively involved in Warburg’s investments in Scotsman Industries, Neiman Marcus and Consolidated Precision Products. Prior to joining Warburg, Annette worked as a Generalist at J.P. Morgan Partners (nka CCMP Capital), the private equity arm of J.P. Morgan Chase.
Annette holds a B.S. in Economics magna cum laude with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
Rich Grajewski is Head of Business Development at MKH Capital Partners with over 15 years of experience in M&A. He is responsible for sourcing and evaluating new platform investments, and managing relationships with intermediaries, operating partners, business owners and executives.
Prior to joining MKH, Rich worked as a Principal of Business Development for Huron Capital Partners. He began his career as middle market lender at PNC and Fifth Third Bank.
Rich holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Eastern Michigan University.
Enrique Saez is a Vice President at MKH Capital Partners with 15 years of experience in private equity. He is responsible for deal evaluation and execution.
Prior to joining MKH, Enrique worked as an Executive Vice President in the Private Equity division at Inversiones Bahía in Panama. Before joining Bahía in 2005, Enrique was the Founder and President of OTC Laboratories, a certified water pre-treatment facility employing the latest technologies in water treatment. Prior, he served as a Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs in Miami, after beginning his career at Bank of America Securities in Miami as a Corporate Credit Analyst.
Enrique holds a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Victoria Arango is a Vice President at MKH Capital Partners. Her responsibilities primarily include financial modeling and due diligence for investment opportunities, as well as supporting deal processes to close acquisitions. Victoria also performs market research and follows industry developments for sourcing deals, and assists with the financial monitoring of portfolio companies. Since joining MKH, Victoria has participated in several acquisitions for Clean Streak Ventures, the firm’s express car wash platform.
Prior to joining MKH, Victoria worked as a Private Equity Associate at Inversiones Bahía in Panama, the largest investment group in Central America, where she participated in several transactions across the financial, communications and education sectors. Before moving into private equity, Victoria served as a Business Development Associate with Motta Internacional in Panama.
Victoria holds a B.A. in Sociology with a concentration in Global and International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Tulane University. As a philanthropic initiative to promote arts and culture in Panama, Victoria conceptualized and put into operation the Museo de la Mola, a museum for the exaltation of an indigenous handmade textile.
Dan Moore is a Vice President at MKH Capital Partners. He is responsible for supporting senior team members with due diligence and deal processes to close acquisitions. Dan also assists with the financial monitoring of portfolio companies. Since joining MKH, Dan has participated in several acquisitions for Clean Streak Ventures, the firm’s express car wash platform.
Prior to joining MKH, Dan worked as an Analyst in the Mid-Corporate Banking division at Citibank in Chicago, where he covered an industry-agnostic portfolio with over $1 billion in credit exposure.
Dan holds a B.S. in Finance from Wake Forest University.
Jason Schwartz is a Vice President at MKH Capital Partners and is responsible for deal evaluation, completion, & portfolio company management.
Prior to joining MKH, Jason worked as an Associate with Trivest Partners and an Analyst with LionTree. Jason brings a wealth of experience across the founder owned business sector, having completed transactions in the home services, healthcare, business services, distribution, franchise, and auto aftermarket segments.
Jason holds a B.B.A with honors from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Alexia joined MKH Capital Partners in 2023 as a Senior Associate. She is responsible for analyzing investment opportunities, identifying strategic acquisition targets, and monitoring existing portfolio companies.
Prior to joining MKH, Alexia worked for three years in Credit Suisse's Latin America M&A team, gaining experience across a broad range of industries. Following that, she worked in corporate development at Latin America-based conglomerate Unicomer Group.
Alexia holds a B.S. with honors from Babson College, majoring in finance, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Alberto Alvarado is an Associate at MKH Capital Partners.
He is responsible for supporting senior team members with due diligence and deal processes to close acquisitions.
Prior to joining MKH, Alberto was an Analyst at Lazard in Panama City, Panama. He worked in M&A for the Central America and Caribbean region. At Lazard, he advised companies mostly in the banking, energy and retail sectors.
Alberto holds a B.A. from Columbia University, where he majored in financial economics.
David Almonte is an Analyst at MKH Capital Partners.
He is responsible for supporting senior team members with due diligence and building supplemental reporting capabilities for portfolio companies.
Prior to joining MKH, David worked as a Data Analyst at MKH Capital Partners portfolio company Clean Streak Ventures, where he developed internal business intelligence tools.
David holds a B.S. in Public Policy Analysis and a B.A in Economics from Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
Garrett Ebrahim is an analyst at MKH Capital Partners.
Prior to joining MKH, Garrett worked as an analyst at CareMax, a Miami based care organization specializing in Medicare Advantage patient bases. During his tenure, Garrett worked across the M&A team as well as providing analytical support in initiatives tracking value created for acquired firms post-close.
Garrett holds a B.S. in Commerce and Business Administration from The University of Alabama.
Amanda Chu is an Operations Analyst at MKH Capital Partners. She is responsible for the analysis and monitoring of the business operations of MKH acquisitions. Since joining the firm, Amanda has been specifically working on Wax Center Partners.
Prior to joining MKH, Amanda worked as a Transfer Pricing Associate at Deloitte in their Chicago and Barcelona offices, where she advised multinational enterprises on transfer pricing compliance and best practices. She also held various short-term positions in private equity, strategy, and human resources.
Amanda holds a B.S. summa cum laude in Economics & Finance from Bentley University and a Master’s Degree in International Relations from IE University. She also holds educational diplomas from Nanyang Technological University and Sciences Po.
Marianne Romero is MKH Capital Partners’ in-house Counsel. She is responsible for the legal matters of MKH’s active investments.
Prior to joining MKH, Marianne served as in-house Counsel for Inversiones Bahía in Panama, where she led or participated in several financial, telecom and energy transactions. Her practice focused on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, energy regulations and corporate law. Prior to joining Bahía, Marianne worked as an Associate for Arias, Fábrega and Fábrega, a law firm in Panama.
Marianne holds a Bachelor of Laws from Universidad Santa María La Antigua in Panama and an L.L.M. in International Financial Law from King’s College in London.
Mariam Dadabhai is MKH Capital Partners’ external transactional advisor.
She is responsible for coordinating legal matters of MKH’s active investments.
Mariam has focused her practice on transactional matters, M&A, commercial law, and corporate governance.
Mariam holds a Bachelor of Laws from Universidad Santa María La Antigua in Panama and an L.L.M. in Commercial Law from London School of Economics in London.
Cassandra Daoust is a Business Development Coordinator at MKH Capital Partners. She is responsible for planning and executing outreach campaigns and assisting with new marketing initiatives.
Prior to joining MKH, Cassandra worked as a Business Development and Marketing Associate at Elite Dental Partners in Chicago, where she helped convert prospects into qualified and actionable leads and clients. Before establishing a career in Business Development, Cassandra served as an Account Executive at Yelp.
Cassandra holds a B.S. in Kinesiology from Central Michigan University.
Jacqueline Perez is the Controller at MKH Capital Partners.
Previously, Jaqueline was a Manager in the Investor Services team at Kaufman Rossin Alternative Investment Services, where she successfully managed the investor onboarding and conversion process for various private equity funds. Prior to joining Kaufman, Jacqueline was a Senior Associate in the Investor Services team at SS&C ALPS, where her responsibilities included reviewing the accuracy of investor transactions and ensuring investors met certain necessary AML standards. Before joining SS&C ALPS, Jacqueline was an international tax consultant at Deloitte.
Jacqueline is a licensed CPA and holds a Bachelor of Accounting and a Master of Accounting from Florida International University.
